Blake Fenwick

March 2024

Summary

Blake Fenwick, a native of Etobicoke, is in his final year pursuing a Master’s degree in Political Science at Western University. This season, he played a pivotal role in leading the Men’s Mustangs Volleyball team and was recognized with a prestigious 1st Team OUA All-Star Award by the Ontario University Athletics.

Commenting on Blake’s contributions, Jim Sage, the Head Coach of the Western Mustangs Men’s Volleyball team, remarked, “Blake exemplifies the ideal of a student athlete, leading the team in kills and points per set. He’s an exceptional teammate—selfless, determined, and truly captivating on the court. Coaching him has been a privilege and he sets a remarkable example for our younger players.”

A big congratulations to Blake Fenwick for being named the Etobicoke Sports Hall of Fame’s Athlete of the Month.
