Congratulations to Bruce Boyd, who recently won the ESHOF 50/50 Raffle on November 2, 2023.
Bruce won the 50/50 pot of $3,060.00 and immediately donated it back to our Student and Scholarship Program.

Tamara Chackeris has made the most of her high school experience at Bishop Allen Academy as a student in the gifted “Sage Program” and as a three-sport champion for the Cardinals.
As an outside hitter for Bishop Allen’s volleyball team she was a four time TDCAA regional champion and won two AAAA OFSAA provincial titles in grade 11 and 12. She also medalled on the badminton and tennis teams at the regional and provincial levels for the Cardinals.
In addition to these sports, Chackeris also played a major role in Bishop Allen’s student body. The Student Government, Athletic Council, Olympia Leadership Conference have all benefitted from Chackeris’ involvement throughout her four years. She was amazingly able to balance these activities while achieving consistent honour roll status; graduating with a 95 per cent average and highest marks in advanced functions, accounting, calculus and data management in her senior year.
Chackeris is currently studying commerce at Queen’s University and is working towards a career in finance accounting or marketing

Lopez’s high school swimming career includes 20 TDCAA medals, 19 of them gold, seven OFSAA medals and the current record holder of the OFSAA 100 metre freestyle of 57.69 seconds set in 2012. Lopez also swam for the Lakeshore Swim Club and during the two years he was with the club he won a total of 24 provincial medals and has beaten over 150 personal records. He is also an avid beach and court volleyball player with national and provincial bronze medals under his belt while playing for Toronto West volleyball club.
Lopez graduated high school as a consistent honour roll student, four-time Male Athlete of the Year, most valuable player and captain for both swimming and volleyball teams. He is currently studying international economics and finance at Ryerson University with hopes of working with stocks or in a bank in the future.
The Etobicoke Sports Hall of Fame awards two (2) scholarships to Etobicoke based High School student athletes.
