Christina may well be the most athletic member of any Humber Hawks women’s team, and there is sufficient proof—given her sport, that she may also be one of the toughest. Women’s Rugby 7’s is not for the faint of heart, as the game includes violent and explosive tackles throughout the game. She is fleet of foot and unlike the traditional game of Rugby 15’s, it is speed and skill that rule. Her ability to stay away from the pack and potential harmful contact is very much a part of her game. Her numbers from the 2017 season are staggering. She scored 180 points (20 tries, 40 converts) in just 16 games played, with many of these games seeing her move to the sidelines early to allow others into the games because of blowouts.
Christina, a fourth-year player from Oshawa, is currently enrolled in the Sport Management Program at Humber.
