The Etobicoke Sports Hall of Fame is dedicated to recognizing and supporting the outstanding achievements of local student athletes. As part of this commitment, we are thrilled to announce the continuation of our scholarship program for high school athletes in Etobicoke.
Each year, we award two scholarships, each valued at $1,000, to deserving male and female student athletes who have excelled not only on the field but also in the classroom and within their community. These scholarships serve as a testament to the hard work, dedication, and leadership exhibited by these remarkable individuals.
In the previous year, our scholarships were proudly presented to Evan Foster and Christine Neatby, both exceptional students from Father John Redmond. They were honored guests at our prestigious Etobicoke Sports Hall of Fame Induction Dinner, where they had the opportunity to mingle with sporting legends like Olympic and National Team Women’s hockey superstar Sami Jo Small.
We are now accepting nominations for the 2014 scholarship recipients. If you know a deserving high school athlete in Etobicoke who embodies the spirit of sportsmanship and academic excellence, we encourage you to nominate them using the nomination form provided below.
Winners will be notified before the end of the 2014 school year and will be invited to join us at the 2014 Induction Dinner, where they will be presented with their monetary award.
As we approach the holiday season, the Etobicoke Sports Hall of Fame extends warm wishes to all and encourages aspiring student athletes to pursue their dreams with passion and determination.
