The Etobicoke Sports Hall of Fame proudly kicks off its 2024 season and celebrates its 30th anniversary, marking the occasion with the announcement of the Class of 2024 during our Home Opener on Thursday, April 25, 2024.

Among the esteemed individuals and organizations recognized this year were Bernice Carnegie, awarded as an Honorary Member for her remarkable contributions to sports; Bill O’Flaherty and Helen & Glenn Jones, acknowledged as Builders for their instrumental roles in shaping the local sports landscape; and Humber College Athletics, recognized as an Organization for its commitment to athletic achievement and development.

The event also served as a platform to showcase the outstanding achievements of the scholarship recipients, whose dedication and talent have shone brightly in their arena. The recipients include:

  • Alvin Hasa
  • Aya Kinsey
  • Jack Kuttner Zubac
  • Jenna Chateau
  • Shobia Sivakumaran
  • Madison Weins
  • Amelia Gardiner
  • Lauren Brazel

As well as recognized our Special Olympic scholarship recipients:

  • Jessica Nishio
  • Alex D’Silva
