The Etobicoke Sports Hall of Fame annually awards scholarships to recognize excellence and commitment in various athletic pursuits. We proudly recognize three categories of scholarships, encompassing our Etobicoke Special Olympics Scholarships, Humber College Scholarships, and Etobicoke High School Scholarships. These awards celebrate athletic and academic achievements, sportsmanship and community involvement.

Special Olympics Scholarships
The Etobicoke Sports Hall of Fame presents annual $1000 scholarships to two Special Olympics athletes displaying excellence, sportsmanship, leadership, and teamwork.
 These awards celebrate inclusivity and achievement, chosen by the ESHOF Selection Committee and presented at the annual induction dinner.
Humber College Scholarships
Scotiabank sponsors six scholarships for student athletes at Humber College, including The George Gross Media Award and The Jerry Howarth Sports Broadcasting Award, each worth $1000.
Recipients, chosen by the Humber College Scholarship Selection Committee on behalf of the Etobicoke Sports Hall of Fame, demonstrate financial need, academic, athletic excellence, community involvement, sportsmanship, and leadership.
High School Scholarships
The Etobicoke Sports Hall of Fame grants eight $1000 scholarships annually to local high school student athletes pursuing post-secondary education.Â
Recipients are chosen by the ESHOF Selection Committee based on academic, athletic achievements, community involvement, and financial need.
